TOURNAMENT FESTIVITIES OF SANT ANTONI DE PORTMANY 2010

Eugenio Eduardo Fernandez Santacruz and Olaria Clausell, players of our club, winning the tournament!

On Sunday January 24 we made the tournament couplet in the categories of mixed seniors and ladies, children and addif. We had a great day, except a bit of a half hour of rain, the tournament was played with good temperature. Promptly began the tournament at 9:00 am, fighting among the 36 teams attending the first group positions, and then around 11:30 started the knockout of general and playoffs. In the junior category and addif, there were a direct po groups from which emerged the winner in each category. The final will be played at 14:30 with a victory on the side of our club players, but the club was the best participation was serres cas cp, q ue had three teams participating and all reached the semifinals in general. For our part, not counting those who won, three more teams reached the quarter-finals of general and another won the play-off final. Congratulations to M ª Carmen Navarro took the ham of the drawing with the number 414 "blue" and all those players that have not won anything, participated in our tournament. Once f inalizado the tournament, players club closed the dyad eating f amily and wishing best of luck for future tournaments and competitions. The final ranking was:

Very good start to the year for our club. As each Tournament season began with the "animal" of the festivity of Sant Antoni, 2010 and this time the club has won a goat, two chickens, a chicken, a rabbit and a dove. The best player Antonio González "Poke" that achieved the first place in the tournament without losing any game. A second player of note Recuero Francisco "Paco" which also played in the final but lacked a little more luck in the last plays. The best thing was the partic ipación of 18 players from our club that was a great choice in terms of trophies, since the triplets were formed to "draw a hype" and that eliminates possible triplets strong. The spoils will make a feast on Friday January 22 at the club, in which all those friends and supporters are invited cpportmany.
