Last Sunday was played the last game of petanque Island League 2010-2011 on the slopes of SCFCAH Serres. Our club has achieved outstanding results as we have been champions in two categories and runner-ups in another. We are the team with best record thus improving the success achieved last year.
In the men's Senior 1 st, the CPPORTMANY "A" formed by Eugenio Olaria, Eduardo Fernandez and Andres Reyes have overwhelmingly been champions since the runner is more than 10 points apart. Moreover, the computer C . P. PORTMANY "B" consisting José Sánchez, Pascual Aroca, Adria Cardona and Oscar Torres, have gained a creditable fourth place; soared into the final since missing two games were in the penultimate position.
In the men's Senior 2 nd, the CPPORTMANY "B" formed by Francisco Resour, Juan Antonio Alcazar and Miguel Angel Plata have been champions for only one game apart. The best of the last day was that the runner, and so far our team tied with the CP SA COLOMINA "D", our team lost PORTMANY "A", which lost all option to get the championship. Moreover, the computer C . P. PORTMANY "A" consists of Patrick Recupero, Peter Grace and Marc Escandell, achieved fourth place; of the category to only 1 game of third place. The CPPORTMANY "C" being the first year playing together, Agustín Muñoz, Laureano Morin and John Gargrave got the sixth position, improve the expectations the club had on this team.
In the women's single category, the CPPORTMANY "A" formed by Recuero Noelia, Ana Cabrera and Cabrera Dulce placed second in the championship.
